OAASC Member Appointed to BWC Health Care Quality Assurance Advisory Committee

Recently, OAASC Member and Board Member, Dr. Douglas Yunker, was appointed to the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Health Care Quality Assurance Advisory Committee (HCQAAC).

Dr. Yunker is a board-certified anesthesiologist and has been in practice for 35 years.  He is currently with Midwest Physician Anesthesia Services. He is an active and dependable member of our association; and has just started his second leadership term with our Board of Trustees. 

The HCQAAC allows committee members to meaningfully engage with the workers’ compensation system in Ohio by providing input regarding medical quality issues to the Administrator, Chief of Medical Services and Chief Medical Officer.  Terms are for 1 year and commence in July.
