Join the OAASC and Paul Cadorette from mdStrategies AND Ohio Medicaid Staff as we assist you in updating and sharpening your knowledge and skills in ASC coding and improve your center’s revenue management.

So often coding changes and incorrect coding errors can cause incorrect, delayed or no reimbursements at all. No matter how diligent and knowledgeable you and you staff are, codes change all the time and knowing (or not knowing) what those are can create a great deal of headaches in the AR and cash flow areas of your center.

A perfect example is a recent change in certain pain codes that cost one center over $20,000 in delayed payments over the course of just a couple of months. Just imagine if this was over several quarters or a year.

This clinic will provide all the details on the most common changes or errors and what you and your staff can do to ensure you are coding correct and receiving the correct reimbursement.

Additionally, Ohio Department of Medicaid staff will address the wide variety of coding questions, reimbursement issues including new codes that ASCs are having with the recently implemented payment system. This session is a must for any center that current sees or plans to see Medicaid patients.

This conference includes one FULL day of education with continuing education INCLUDING the following areas:

2019 CPT Coding Changes

Ophthalmology Coding
